I look forward to helping our chapter prosper as professionals by providing resources and enabling growth opportunities through networking and skill-building events with our company sponsors. I am also leading the planning for National Convention and I want to ensure the best possible experience for all members attending to ensure that every single one of them gets their dream job. My name is Klaryssa Lopez and I am a Senior Chemical Engineering Major from Houston Texas, but most importantly I am the loudest and the proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2024! A-WHOOP! I have the honor and privilege of serving as your Secretary for the 2023-2024 academic year. My responsibilities include keeping record of the Main Point Sheet as well as updating all our members about chapter activities. I also coordinate the photo frames and scrapbook for the year and do some behind the scenes logistics for our chapter. I can’t wait to meet everyone and embark on this journey with you all! Howdy! My name is Selvin Diaz, and I am a Sophomore Civil Engineer from Houston, Texas, but most importantly, I am the LOUDEST and the PROUDEST member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2025! A-A-A WHOOP! I have the honor and privilege of serving as your Treasurer for the 2023-2024 academic year. A few of my tasks include creating a budget for the organization, working alongside the Student Organization Financial Center, and setting up fundraisers. My two biggest goals for this year are to help close the financial literacy gap and bring into reality a fundraising event we are calling SHPErun! Through this, I hope to rebrand the treasurer committee. I am very excited to start the year, and I can't wait to see how our organization continues to flourish! Thanks, and Gig 'em!

Howdy! My name is Juana Hernandez and I am a Junior Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology from Houston, Texas, but most importantly, I am the loudest and proudest member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2025! A-A-A Whoop! I have the honor and privilege of serving as your Director of External Affairs for the 2023-2024 academic year. My responsibility is to increase STEM engagement among K-12 graders through outreach initiatives, including after-school clubs, stimulating competitions, and weekend camps at the university. I am excited to help bring STEM to more students while helping lead an organization that provides so much for Hispanics and our local community. During this school year, I want to help encourage and inspire SHPE members to take the first steps in delivering exciting and engaging activities for our K-12 service and outreach programs. I have the honor and privilege of serving as your Director of Internal Affairs for the ‘23-‘24 academic year. My tasks include planning and organizing all social, volunteering, and athletic events. Due to the multitude and magnitude of these events, I heavily rely on my committee for assistance when getting everything ready for our events, so reach out and join the IAC!
